Although rural, Tyndrum is surprisingly the ideal base to go touring from as you are in an excellent central location to visit many places of interest.

Interests - Walking the area is second to none for walking, there are walks for all abilities just around Tyndrum on the west highland way and a little further along the road is the spectacular Glencoe where we have some of the most magnificent mountains most are Munro’s with incredible scenery.

Once you have worked up an appetite you can try some local quality food.

• Golfing We have many golf courses Killin, Dalmally, Inveraray, St. Fillans, Oban I can recommend these courses for excellent golfing.
• Inveraray – on a wet day, not walking weather,
   go to Inveraray jail, or visit the Ship on the pier for the day.
• Fishing Loch Awe/ Loch Tay.
• Whisky trails .
• Cycling
• Motorbike touring.
